# FinPlan Error

Dear FinPlan Members,

I am having trouble running the Calculate function and am unable to proceed to the next stage of generating the financials. An error message is displayed once I run “Calculate”.

Please see attached the case file and advise on any corrections I can make.

Hello,

It seems like you have not put in data for ‘inflation information’ and ‘currency exchange rates’. Both are under the ‘general data’ tab. The calculate function should then work after addressing this.

Dear Naomi and Community,

I am experiencing the same issue. I’ve double checked all required entries under “Case Date”, “Plant Data” and “Financial Manager”. But can’t find any missing entry.

Please find my entries and results below.

Moreover, can’t download the the Completed Case Study with the link prodived on Hands-On Exercice 5 to compare the values one by one.

Dear Abass,

If you could share your model file, I am happy to check to see if there is any missing data input that may be causing errors whilst running the FINPLAN model. In the meantime, the link for the complete case-study file is [here](https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7tmogqqx5zhvmzx/AACsRtOGuVOvqlFXHq6AdGxqa?dl=0&preview=Completed+Coal+Demo.zip). This should lead to a Drop Box, from which you can download the ZIP file that can then be added to FINPLAN to compare your inputs. This can be done as shown below:

1. Access the link and download the associated ZIP file

2. Select “+ Select case…” in FINPLAN, and then select this downloaded ZIP file.

3. Select “Restore” to load into FINPLAN, then open to compare.
