I am currently on the 8th Lesson (Hands-on Exercise - Using FinPlan) and I have observed that FinPlan does not go beyond the page attached herewith. That is, clicking “Manage Case Studies” does not bring out any menu as shown in the manual. Has any one experiences this?

That is odd. I have downloaded the exact file and mine is working. Upon clicking on “Manage Case Studies”, I can see the case studies page.
What about when you click on “About” in the top right corner - is that working for you? Does a second page pop-up or are you still on the same page?

I had a call with Uduak last week and we identified the issue: he was using Windows 8, but the new version of FINPLAN just works from Windows 10 onwards.
Those with older Windows versions will also need to use an old FINPLAN version available at:

Overall, the functionality is similar (but limited) and it will produce the same results. However, importing/exporting between the old and new version will cause issues, especially if something has been entered under the field “name” which comes up when backing up a case in the current FINPLAN version.
