I just started the CLEWs modeling course and I wanted to install the osemosys.3.3.0 interface on my laptop but I don’t have administrator access so I can not right-click on ‘Run as administrator’.
how can I use the interface as an administrator?

Hope all is well and that you enjoyed the holidays.
You should not have to right-click and select “Run as administrator”. You should be able to just double-click and run the installer normally. That said, if you do not have administrator rights on your laptop you likely won’t be able to install any software on it, including the new UI. If this is the case, you would probably need to contact someone with administrator rights and ask them to log on with their credentials and install it for you. Once it is installed you should be able to use it freely without admin credentials.
Let me know if there is anything else I can do to assist.
Two other things to note:
- The online course that CCG set up works with an older version of the UI. If you prefer, I can give you a newer version with some improved performance and functionality. The only issue is that the screenshots in the online course might look a little different.
- Once you are set up, I can also convert the Ethiopia model from our CLEWs project to the new UI if that is of interest.
