osemosys.3.3.0 interface

Dear All
Kindly how do you download the above software.

I have the same issue too. Kindly help

Hi,
I have the same problem. The link posted in Handout 1 for the CLEWS OpenU course (https://drive.google.com/file/d/12Yz2YEiFR6je34_4qbiGTFm2Cbl1dXmq/) does not work.

Dear All,

Apologies for the inconvenience. Kindly try this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1425DaZIfin9jQbRX8GCipjhk97797DUg/view?usp=sharing. It is to a slightly updated version, with no big differences in the appearance, but running more smoothly.

We will correct the link on the OpenU course right away.

Best regards

Francesco

Thank you, Francesco,

Please, after installing this updated version, will the scenarios and data entered in the previous version remain available?

Best regards,
Esso-wazam

Dear Esso-Wazam,

The way one inputs data remains the same, so you can follow the same instructions on the OU course without problems.

Regarding the possibility of uploading previous models created with v3.3 of the interface (a previous one), I think there is backward compatibility but will have to confirm.

Best regards

Francesco

Ok, thank you.

Just a couple of additional quick notes for clarity:

  • There is backwards compatibility so models developed in earlier versions of the UI can be uploaded to a newer version
  • You need to back-up your models before installing a newer version and then use the “Restore model” feature on the home screen once the new version is installed.
  • The first time you open a model from an earlier version of the UI you should click “Update model” on the Configure model screen to make the model compatible with the new UI version and incorporate any new parameters and features.

Best regards,

Tom

Hi, the new link https://drive.google.com/file/d/1425DaZIfin9jQbRX8GCipjhk97797DUg/view?usp=sharing is also giving me the error “Sorry, the file you have requested does not exist”. Is it just me or has anybody else faced the same issue?

Hi Tabassum,

It looks like there is some error with that link.
I downloaded the software last week and have put it on Google Drive. You can try using this link if you like.

I am sure the main link will also be rectified soon (maybe there is some update going on)

Hi, it seems that the material under the hands-on instructions has been updated yesterday. In the document provided under “Hands on exercise lecture 1” , we are instructed to go to http://localhost:8080/#/models to confirm if the initial workshop model file have been uploaded correctly. Unfortunately, this link is not working and gives the error “This site can’t be reached- local host refused to connect.” Please help!

Sincerely,
Tabassum

Hi Tabassum,

I am not finding this second broken link (http://localhost:8080/#/models). Do you confirm it is in Hands-on 1? Could you indicate the page / send a screenshot?

Best regards,

Francesco

Dear all,

http://localhost:8080/#/models is the link to access a local installation of the MoManI interface (used in an earlier version of the course). If you take the current course and have installed the Osemosys UI there is no need to use this link.

Best,
Tom

Hi Francesco,

The link isn’t working for me (see below). Can you provide a new link?

Thanks.

Best regards,
Nurzhan

Dear Nurzhan,

This is the latest link for installing the interface: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17H3dZAZ_CDCzUkBf8KjwwhxK3S33racO/view.

Kindly let me know if this does not work.

Best regards,
