I would like to ask whether anyone has experienced a similar issue with the Hands-on 9 quiz.
I have carefully checked my model inputs against the tutorial and Data Preparation file, including the Emission Activity Ratio, reserve-margin constraint, and UDC multipliers. The model results and overall graph patterns also appear consistent with the exercise, but two of my quiz answers are still marked incorrect.
I initially used MUIO v5.6, but the results differed because newer versions include calculation updates. I then tried MUIO v5.0, as used in the tutorial, but it did not work properly on my computer. I am currently using MUIO v5.3, since it is closer to v5.0 and predates the later calculation changes.
Has anyone encountered the same issue? Could it be related to the MUIO version, solver behaviour, rounding tolerance, or a different reference model used for the quiz?
I would really appreciate any advice on how to resolve this. Thank you very much for your help.
Dear @winwul, I am also using MUIO 5.6 but my answers for Hands-on 9 are also marked wrong. It was fine up until Hands-on 8. Can you share what you did to resolve the issue? Thank you.
@winwul, I use MUIO 5.6 since the start of the training. I could not match the results. Is there anything that is not written clearly in the module that I might miss?
Dear @shetob, Could you please share your .txt data file for Hands-on 09? I can compare it with the reference case and identify any potential differences.
Dear @shetob, Please update your Discount Rate parameter from 0.1 to 0.05, as this is the main difference affecting the results you are obtaining in your case. A correction to the Hands-on 2 material is required to reflect the correct value.
