Good evening, my name is Adam and I am enrolled in the OnSSET Open University course.
I am working on Exercise 5: Data extraction to CSV. To preface I am running QGIS 3.28.6-Firenze Firenze on MacOSX. Not the ideal or recommended setup for the class, but it’s what I must work with. The OnSSET database plugin downloaded and appears to function, at least until data processing occurs. When I follow the instructions for exercise five, I can select all relevant layers in the OnSSET pop up window and when I click Run, it executes every command including “Adding the vector data to the clusters.” Right before it fails. According to the demonstration, that that is the last line of code that would normally appear before the console announces that it is making the CSV.
This is the error code it generates. OUTPUT.shp is not the name of any layer I inputted to the QGIS window before clicking run.
_core.QgsProcessingException: Unable to execute algorithm Could not load source layer for INPUT: /private/var/folders/nw/s0g9gtsj0391k3r1zrxyh9b40000gn/T/processing_Cepyju/7aea66aa05df4be7b933603812111525/OUTPUT.shp not found
Can anyone recommend how to troubleshoot the issue that involves the software I already have? I am concerned because I have received high marks on all of the quizzes in the class, but I have left the Hands-on exercise 6 quiz incomplete, because I cannot generate the CSV to upload into the Jupyter Notebook to finish the modeling exercise.
I am DJIBO BOUBE Bachirou, I have recently attended the EMP-Africa 2023 in-person training in Namibia.
I have also encountered the same issue you are currently experiencing regarding the version of the QGIS which was not the one required for the OU but is not up-to-date compared to the one I am using.
I was running the plug-in for csv extraction using QGIS 3.22.4 on Windows I also got the same error as you below, I was embarrassed because I want to hit the OU 100%. So, later I realised that the csv is a prerequisite but not a must to respond to the question of the lecture 6 quiz and exercise 6 quiz rather focus on the socio-economic, electrification rate, and population data collection to run the GEP-OnSSET that you can get on the link provided in exercise 6 and in the questions asked within the latter. To can refer to the results summary visualize in the exercise 6 sheet to respond to the lecture 6 quizzes with a bit of experience from your reading. Good luck
Therefore, to answer your questions about exercise 6 you can refer to the link provided in the sheet.

Thank you so much for your prompt and detailed feedback! I really appreciate your help. I was able to pass the Open University Course with high marks thank to you and look forward to applying for the upcoming July summer school at the ICTP. I will practice with the Malawi CSV instead to familiarize myself with the GEP-OnSSET process.
