This resource provides a practical workflow for reconstructing the base year for the cooking end use in the Residential sector. It guides you through collecting and preparing the required inputs, including population, households, urban and rural shares, occupancy rates, final energy demand from national energy balance data, and efficiencies. The exercise also shows how to validate the reconstructed base year against national energy balance figures to ensure consistency.
