Thank you for the opportunity. I really appreciate your time for guiding us all in this course. I am newbie on this and want to learn how the bottom-up energy demand modelling works. I saw this free course in LinkedIn and enrolled right away. At the moment, I’m studying the Hands-on 6 and get troubled at the inconsistencies between the MAED and the excel result.
As you can see, there is a difference in the electricity final energy demand in the urban household sector. I try to make sure the input number many times, the number is the same for all energy forms, but why the result differ between the MAED model and the excel. I try to move on with the result and moving on to rural model. In this moment, the result is totally different between the MAED and the excel for the final energy demand in the rural household sector. See the picture below.
Can you please guide me on this? Why is there a difference between the MAED result and the excel? I have the latest version of the app from Github.
