Our Guest Speaker will be PhD. Leonardo de Arruda Bitencourt. He is a professor of Electrical Engineering at the State University of Rio de Janeiro. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, as well as a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal Fluminense University. His research focuses on the integration of electric vehicles into power grids, addressing topics such as charging and discharging optimization, tariff modeling, and vehicle-to-grid systems. He also works on the application of mathematical optimization and simulation tools to renewable energy planning, smart grids, and sustainable mobility
